The aim was to immersify the digital experience for insurance customers at standard bank and give them a tailored easy to use journey that made onboarding them very much seamless

The Process

  • Developing a UX Strategy that quickly allow us to test the usability and understanding of the user flows
  • New component testing of UI elements to ensure accessibility and readability
  • Figma migration and redeveloping the design system and library to be have a unified UI that matched with the entire bank’s design system and also having a standalone UI framework that was customized and unique to our department as per our use case and our means of approaching creative design problem solving.
  • Devising prototypes that ensured clear and concise understanding in how these modernized and trailed and tested UI components were going to operate in a journey and how expressive they were going to be in the means of how they translated to the actual live build and how us as the users could intake the experience as our users using empathetic approaches and understanding to frontier and spearhead our customer satisfaction thus optimizing business goals

Data and Analytical findings

  • We were able to increase more sign ups and more people were able to make use of the internet banking experience better as it seemed a bit mundane and redundant before but improving the UI and modernizing the information architecture with fun and engaging patterns made for more motivation to complete tasks
  • New Users invested more in being able to find more subset products such as insurance the pinning down and tying down of these experiences in conjunction helped for a unified experience
  • Overall users were beyond please with the new features added and the ones removed and how easy and fun the platform was to engage with
